About Us
Hope Sanctuary Foundation Uganda (HOSAFU) was born from a deep-seated desire to address the profound suffering experienced by vulnerable children and women in our community. Witnessing the plight of orphans, abandoned children, and women victimized by domestic violence stirred our hearts to action. We recognized the urgent need for a safe haven where these individuals could find refuge, healing, and hope.
Our foundation emerged as a response to the pressing needs in and around Uganda. The vision of creating a community where every child and woman is treated with love and dignity propelled us forward. We embarked on this journey with a clear mission to be a beacon of God’s love, providing sanctuary for those in despair.
The core values of our Foundation guide our every action. We live in total dependency on God’s Word, trusting in His provision as we extend care and support to the most vulnerable among us. Our commitment to accountability, equity, and transparency ensures that we uphold the dignity of every individual we serve.
Our objectives reflect our holistic approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by children and women in distress. From providing a safe haven for orphans and abused children to offering healing and restoration to women who have suffered abuse, our foundation stands as a testament to the transformative power of love and compassion.
Through formal and informal education, healthcare initiatives, and advocacy for children’s rights, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and oppression that plagues our community. We recognize the importance of partnerships and alliances in achieving our goals, working collaboratively with willing individual partners to maximize our impact.
At the heart of it all is our unwavering commitment to sharing the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with those who need it most. Every child and woman who crosses the threshold of Hope Sanctuary Foundation Uganda finds not only refuge from their pain but also a community of believers dedicated to walking alongside them on their journey to healing and restoration.
